The US poster for Audrey’s movie “Hors de Prix” aka “Priceless” has been published! I uploaded it to the gallery and I think that they did quite a nice job. Audrey looks fantastic on that picture and the tagline isn’t too bad either (“She only dated men with money… until she met a man with heart”)- what do you think? Do you like the poster? Thanks goes to IONcinema for the heads-up! :)

All fans from the US should mark their calendars on March 28, 2008 – it’s the release date of “Priceless” (not April 5, as previously announced).
Jean-Pierre Jeunet, director of the two of the most wonderful Audrey movies ever, “Amélie” and “A Very Long Engagement” will do a new movie that is set for release in 2009. It is called “Micmacs à tire-larigot” and will be a satirical comedy that tells a story about illegal gun trade.
Jamel Debbouze (Lucien in “Amélie”) and Dominique Pinon (Joseph in “Amélie” and Sylvain in “A Very Long Engagement”) are already set to star in the movie. There are rumors that Jodie Foster (Elodie Gordes in “A Very Long Engagement”) and Audrey (!) might also appear in the movie. However, nothing is confirmed yet, but stay tuned!
In other news, Audrey has been nominated for a Prix Raimu de la Comédie for Best Actress, however she lost to Charlotte Gainsbourg. At least, “Ensemble, c’est tout won the award for Best Movie :) The award ceremony took place on December 17 in Paris.
Thanks so much Cassie for the heads-up!
Things have been rather quiet around Audrey lately, but nevertheless I’m trying to keep this site updated regularly, so first of all you should head to the gallery: there is new hi-res scan of Audrey in the October issue of InStyle Russia where Audrey seems to be compared with other famous actresses like Brigitte Bardot (I do not know any Russian, sorry ^_^). Thanks to Elmira for the scan!
There’s also an update on “Coco Avant Chanel“: as IMDb Pro says, Danish actor Mads Mikkelsen (you might know him as Le Chiffre in “Casino Royale”) is in talks to co-star as Igor in the movie. Igor Strawinsky was a componist who Chanel had an affair with.
The French magazine “Femmes Actuelles” reports that the formerly untitled Coco Chanel biopic actually has a title now: Coco Avant Chanel (which means “Coco Before Chanel”). It’s not clear yet if this title is gonna be the definitive one or if it is just a working title – however, we have a title! :)
Thanks to Cécile I have a scan of the article that you can view here. The translation of the article can be found here!
Oh, and stay tuned for the POTM July pics which will follow within the next few days ^^
